La Caféothèque de Paris

Mon premier blog!

Salut!

C'est mon premier blog!

Aujourd'hui, mes amis et moi, nous sommes allés à notre café préféré pour le déjeuner. Le café s’appelle La Caféothèque de Paris. Il est à quelques pas de notre appartement. L'atmosphère du café est très jolie et confortable. Alors que nous sommes là, nous commandons café et des croque-monsieurs. Alors que nous avons apprécié nos boissons, nous avons discuté de nouveaux films qui sortaient. Nous avons décidé d'aller à l'UGC Ciné Cité Bercy qui est près du café. Mes amis et moi, nous avons choisi le film Les Intouchables parce qu'il avait de très bonnes critiques. Le film a été un toucher, drôle et un intrigant de l'aventure. Ce sont les mots qui décrivent ce film miraculé et je ne pourrais pas en dire moins. Ce film était fantastique, superbe intérimaire diriger, et une histoire inoubliable.

Je suis Charlie

Dear mom and dad,

I'm writing you from Nice. I heard about the attacks on Charlie Hebdo, and I thought I should check in with you and tell you that I'm okay. The apartment I am living in with my friends was 2 kilometers away from the Charlie Hebdo office that was attacked. It's hard to believe that we live so close to where the attacks occurred. Charlie Hebdo is a satirical magazine that publishes many comics. The magazine has published multiple comics of Muhammed. Extremists were offended by the comics because depicting an image of Muhammed is against their religion. Two brothers stormed the magazine office and shot many people. Another man that was involved with them took hostages at a supermarket. Eventually, all three men were caught and killed. In many places in the world, we have the freedom to say what we want to. I believe that people should have the right to say what they would like to say, and no one should take away that right. The extremists should have never reacted that way, it was extremely violent and did not help their cause. So many people were killed and they were innocent. I hope everyone that was personally affected by this is doing well.
